Sr. Business Analyst   (Two Permanent Positions)

The Sales and Implementation Business Analyst position is critical in the successful deployment of our products and overall customer satisfaction.  They have ready access to senior management, application architects and sales team.  This position has two primary goals;  

1.       This position takes the lead with all new clients to provide them leadership and workflow process customization in installation planning and converting them to our products.     

2.       This position provides the synergic influence between BSI's sales department, company's information systems and our customers.   

  The ideal candidates will have the following skills:  

• Demonstrated proficiency in communication, project management, and analytical thinking.  In effect they are the leaders directing and overseeing each customer and product deployment.  
• Experience or knowledge of the Debt Collection industry a big plus.  
• At least 5 years business and computer experience, including process design, implementation planning, application programming, report design and writing and end-user support. 
• Ability to independently drive issue resolution, develop business knowledge and relationships and apply technical alternatives while operating in a rapidly changing business environment.  
• Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.   
• Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.  
• Excellent written communication is essential.   
• Superior analytical skills to think through complex, multidimensional problems. 
• College degree in Management, MIS or Computer Science is preferred.

SQL Programmer Analyst

We seek an IT professional with strong SQL Programming experience to assist the DBAs in developing our existing and new products.

REQUIRED SKILLS:  

·          Candidates must have an excellent knowledge of SQL, and experience with reading and using Data Models, complicated view development, and triggers.

·          Candidates should be familiar with sub-queries, experience with MDX queries, unions, data switching, and logical & physical data models. 

·          Candidate must have a strong background in relational database concepts associated with the design of OLTP and OLAP database systems.  B.S. degree in computer science or equivalent preferred. 

·          Exceptional candidates will also have experience with ERwin, database querying tools, OLAP, XML, and Microsoft SQL Server. 

·          Candidates must have a commitment to quality workmanship, and solid interpersonal and written communication skills. 

·          Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team.  

·          Candidates must be self-motivated, proactive in communicating progress and issues, and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize workload.

·          Candidates must be detail-oriented. 

·          Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.  

·          Candidates must be able to pick up new technologies and business concepts quickly, and be proactive in identifying problems and offering suggestions for improvement.
