collection and litigation workflow, an import
and export design tool providing do-it-yourself

scheduled calls and tasks, along with account
forwarding capabilities and cost efficient
and seamless third-party interfaces.

and modeling feature allowing accurate measurement
of any portfolio's performance. Finally,

The product is scalable in number of users

How
COGENT Works
COGENT is designed around integrated security
that provides tight control and compliance
of data and who has access to that data.
COGENT is designed on a powerful relational
database engine (Microsoft SQL Server) that
provides full data integrity, recovery and
auditing. COGENT introduces new XML
schemas that cover each type of collection
debt (consumer, commercial, medical, student
loan, utility, bad check, etc.).
These new XML collection schemas make it
easy to import and export any type of debtor
accounts and also seamlessly interface with
third party vendors to get instant skip
trace, background and credit searches, with
results stored automatically.
Customizable action plans manage the flow
of accounts through the collection process
according to specific rules for a client,
creditor, and/or one or more of several
other account attributes. This strategy
ensures that each segment of the firm's
inventory is worked most effectively, according
to its unique requirements. Management
information is automatically delivered to
managers' online dashboards and real-time
reports are available to view online and
or forward via e-mail to clients.
Application Service Provider Model
COGENT will be available as a stand-alone
product or in an application service provider
(ASP) model. The ASP approach will
capitalize on secure web technologies to
quickly and cost-effectively allow a client
company to operate, without the burden of
building, managing, and maintaining the
hardware infrastructure and software costs.
BSI eSolutions will manage the hardware,
network operating system, database and applications,
provide all data backup and recovery, and
apply software upgrades.
The
ASP option allows the attorneys to focus
their energy on their core business and
leverage BSI eSolution's staff to run the
application, servers, and manage the security
needs of the hosted business.
